28th PROJECTED IMAGES BIENNIAL
Dear friend photographers.
Unity in Diversity, the national motto of Indonesia, is a term that strikes
deep into the hard of this dynamic and attractive Southeast Asian
nation. Few places offer such cultural variety and geographical
complexity as Indonesia, and no two journeys here are ever like.
Indonesia is composed of seventeen thousand islands that stretch over
five thousand miles along the equator.
To promote its rich culture in this great nation, FRSI (Federation of
Photographic Societies of Indonesia) was established in 1973. Since
then it has organized its annual photographic competition and
exhibition called “Salonfoto Indonesia” and on 2009 we have

successfully organized the 25 FIAP Projected Images Biennial.
Once again we graciously invite you, photographers from all around
the world, to come and participate in FIAP Biennial 2015 for projected
images. We will hold this event in June 2015 in Indonesia´s historic city
of Bandung. We look forward to see many of you in this monumental
event. We believe, that photography is a universal language, which
powerful and capable enough to strengthen friendship among the
world citizens and promo world peace with kind regards from
Indonesia.

INVITATION
On behalf of the International Federation of Photographic Art, The
Federation of Photographic Society of Indonesia invites you to participate in
the 28th Biennial for projected images, which will take place in Indonesia
from 20th of June to 18th of September.
CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
Each national association member of FIAP may enter a CD-Rom containing
20 digital works. Each collection must be coherent from the point of view of
inspiration and conception as well as from the point of view of realisation
and presentation. Each federation chooses its subject and its choice of
entries (at the most two works per author). No Nudes Accepted
PRIZES
The Biennial will be awarded as follows :
Colour Projected Images World Cup for the best national federation.
FIAP Gold medal for the federation which comes second.
FIAP Silver medal for the federation which comes third..
FIAP Bronze medal for the federation which comes fourth.
Six honourable mentions for the federations which come 5th to 10th.
The authors of the federation coming first receive an honourable mention
One FIAP gold medal, two FIAP silver medals and three FIAP bronze medals will
award works of exceptional quality, independently of the subjects chosen by the
federations and independently of the federations’ classification.
Each author can only receive one prize.
CATALOGUE
Each participating author will receive a CD catalogue.
At least one work per participating country will be reproduced, as well as all
prize-winning works.
WORKS SIZE
The files must be JPG10, 72dpi, 2400 pixels in the larger side. Files will be
named with the FIAP country code followed by a number from 01 to 20 and
the work title (example : B01_01_snow.jpg, B01_02_trees.jpg, etc.).
