1. The uniform 15-m bar in figure weighs 60 N and is
pulled on by rope at A. Assume roller at A and C, and
collar at B are frictionless. If the system is in
equilibrium, determine;
i. the tension in the rope, T,
ii. reaction forces at A and B.
2. The nose Wheel assembly is raised by the application of a
moment M to link BC through the shaft at B. If the arm and
wheel AO have a combined mass of 50 kg with center of
mass at G, find the value of M necessary to lift the wheel
when D is directly under B at which position angle θ is 300.
