This will be a two day , three in one tournament, there will be a payout for each day
total weight, plus overall for both days. The first day being on Saturday May 6th & finishing
up on Sunday May 7th. These pay outs will be awarded on Sunday May 7th after the
completion of the second day. Awards will be given to the top 3 teams. An additional award
will be given to the team with the largest move up in the placement chart for 2 day overall
(come back award).
2.
The tournament hours will be from 7:00 am to 3:30 am each day. Sign in and boat
inspections will begin at 6:00 am at the Mule Creek Bay(Bear Claw) and Pat's Point
boat ramps. We will stage and launch boats from the Marina Bay. Two flights/trickle
start will be used to start the tournament, and reverse day 2.
3.
Fish fifteen inches (15”) or larger will be measured. Fish will be measured in 1/4 inch
increments. Each team will be allowed to measure in twelve (12) fish per day with a maximum
of five (5) fish in possession at any one time per team. Any fish less than fifteen inches (15”) that
are brought into the weigh station will not count towards the team’s weight; however, the short
fish will count toward one of the twelve (12) fish maximum for the day. The time the fish spend
in the live well will be no more than three (3) hours (The NEWWA strongly recommends
weighing in multiple times per day, not to exceed twelve (12) times). Once five (5) walleyes
are in the live well, anglers must immediately proceed to a weight station. Fish that are unable to
right themselves after weighing shall be declared dead and will be given to the contestant and
count towards the anglers possession limit. If any fish is questionable (white gills, soft flesh,
sunk in eyes, etc.) due to poor handling, these fish will not be counted towards weight but will
count towards the 12 fish limit. After teams measure in their fish, one team member will sign to
confirm the measurements. Note: there will be no culling allowed. If a fish is placed in the live
well, it must be weighed in by a tournament staff member/official. Violation of this or any
Wyoming Game & Fish Regulation, Wyoming State Parks rule or NEWWA rule between
6:00cp.m. Friday May 6th to 4:00p.m. Sunday May 7th will result in the team being disqualified
from the tournament.
