Isabella!
Isabella Miller won the Gold Medal
in the Basic 6 Program with Music
at the Westchester Skating
Academy Basic Skills Competition
on May 31, 2009. Isabella is 6
years old and has been skating
since last July. She is also on the
Beginner Ice Magic Team.
Hickory Hill FSC skater at 2009 ISU Adult
International Competition!
Hickory Hill adult skater Amy Hodman
competed in the 2009 ISU Adult International
Figure Skating competition in Oberstdorf,
Germany this past May. This competition is
now in its fifth year, and in 2009 it hosted its
first competitors ever from Ireland and Japan.
All the events at this competition also use the
IJS scoring system. Amy won the silver medal
out of 9 skaters in her Bronze 2 ladies freestyle
event.

ATTENTION ADULT SKATERS!!
The Ice Magic Masters team building this summer for the 2009‐2010 competitive season. Our team is one of the top Adult Masters teams in the US (with a rave review on Ice Network — be sure to check out our pictures in the 2009 US Synchronized Championships section of their website!) Newcomers to synchronized skating are welcome with Bronze Level Ice Dance/Freestyle skills. We meet on Thursday evenings during the season at 8:15 to 9:30 PM at the Harvey Rink and will be hosting ‘Skate with Us’ sessions this summer.
