Course Title: Latin 1
Grade Level: 9-12
Course Description: Latin I will introduce students to the language,
literature, and culture of the ancient Romans. This
course primarily emphasizes Latin grammar and
vocabulary, but it also analyzes Roman myths and
history. Students can expect to do translations,
culture projects, grammar exercises, and a few
limited speaking activities. At least a “C” average
in English/Language Arts classes is recommended.
