Applications are invited from candidates who fulfill the following qualifications and
other eligibility conditions as on 1.5.2012 for selection of suitable candidates for
appointment to one temporary ex cadre post of Branch Officer (System Administrator) and
five temporary ex cadre posts of Court Assistant (Technical Assistant cum Programmer) in
the Registry of the Supreme Court of India:Name of the post

Pay Band
: PB-3 - Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 6600/(approximate Gross Salary with HRA - Rs. 54,713/- p.m.)
Age limit
: In case of deputation, maximum age limit for appointment
shall not exceed 56 years.
In case of direct recruitment, candidate should be in the age
group of 30 to 45 years. Usual relaxation in age will be
admissible to SC/ST/OBC candidates and ex-servicemen as per
Government Rules. There will be no lower/upper age limit for
the eligible employees working in the Registry of Supreme
Court of India. The relaxation in upper age limit will not be
applicable to the candidates who are working in other
Government Department/Public Sector Undertakings.

Age limit
: In case of deputation, maximum age limit for appointment
shall not exceed 56 years.
In case of direct recruitment/on contract basis, the candidate
should be below 30 years. Usual relaxation in age will be
admissible to SC/ST/OBC candidates and ex-servicemen as per

GENERAL INFORMATION :
Candidates who fulfill the prescribed qualifications, experience, requirement and
other eligibility conditions as on 1.5.2012 should apply giving full particulars (Bio-data) as
per proforma enclosed supported by copies of all the relevant certificates and documents
and a passport size photograph to be affixed on the application, all duly attested by a
Gazetted Officer. Candidates who are already working in Government service should send
their application through proper channel. Applications not found as per prescribed proforma
and not supported by duly attested documents or attested photograph will not be
entertained. Candidates who do not fulfill the prescribed qualifications and other eligibility
conditions need not apply.
The appointment on contract basis will be initially for a period of one year. The
candidates selected for appointment on contract basis shall have no right for regular
appointment on the post. Payment of consolidated emoluments to the contractual
appointment will be based on the minimum of the scale of pay plus Grade Pay plus DA only
as mentioned against the post of Court Assistant(Technical Assistant-cum-Programmer). No
other financial allowance/facilities shall be payable to contractual appointee.
No
TA/DA
will
be
payable
to
the
candidates
for
appearing
in
the
Examination/Interview.
