organized 5 on 5 leagues. There are two
height classifications: 6’1” & under, and open
height leagues. Both height classifications
have leagues of different ability levels
(contingent on team turn out).
Leagues
Leagues consist of ten week season. Post
season tournaments will be held for qualifying
teams. Top teams will be matched against
each other in a single elimination tournament.
League winners will receive prizes.
Games
Games will be officiated by two referees. A
scorekeeper and statistician
are also
provided to track game stats. Courts are high
school or college regulation sizes.
Statistics
Stats are provided online each week
indicating team standings and statistics.
Individual statistics will be included on the
stat-sheet as well. This gives teams and
players the opportunity to keep track of team
and individual performances week to week,
and for the season. Players who continue to
participate in HBL leagues will have their
statistics tracked and recorded season to
season.

Officials Fees
If you have access to the internet, the latest
box scores, standings, statistics, schedules
and league news will be available to you on line
at www.hangtimebasketball.net.
Teams will be responsible for paying $32 each
game to cover the services of the
statistician, officials, and scorekeeper. A
$64 refundable forfeit deposit will be
included in addition to the team registration
fee to protect the league against forfeits.
This deposit is refundable if your team has no
forfeits during the season (including
playoffs).
Need Players/Team?
If you’d like to create a team, but don’t have
enough players, or if you’re looking to play on
a team, call us. We compile a list of players
for those in need of players or teams.
When & Where
We are now accepting teams for next season
for the following leagues: 6’1 & under and
open height restriction (all ability levels). All
games will be played at the Alliant
International University Sports Center in
Scripps Ranch.
Team Jerseys
All teams are required to have jerseys of the
same color with permanent affixed numbers
(marking pens and taped on numbers will not
be allowed). Teams must have their jerseys
by the first game of the season. Please order
reversible jerseys. If you have problems
locating a supplier, Hangtime Basketball
Leagues can assist your team in finding a
reasonable priced supplier.
