Surface Area of a Right Cone:
Example 1: Find the surface area of the right cone.
Example 2: Find the surface area of a right cone with a radius of 12 feet and a slant height of 16 feet.
Example 3: Find the surface area of a regular triangular pyramid. The base has side lengths of 12 cm
and the lateral edges are 9 cm.
Example 4: A regular pentagonal pyramid has a base with sides of length 18 inches and a slant height of
24 inches. Find the surface area of the pyramid.
