INTENDED USE
General area illumination in general to heavy industrial applications including
Class 1, Division 2 classified hazardous locations and severe conditions such
as marine and corrosive environments or where excessive vibration and dirt
may exist.
CONSTRUCTION
Compact NEMA heavy-duty constructed housing. Die-cast copper free
(< .4%) aluminum housing with rounded corners and front bezel. Front bezel
is removable via position-oriented hinge-cam design. Lens is thermal and
shock-resistant, clear tempered glass with no metal to glass contact.
Hardware is corrosion resistant.
FINISH
Standard finish is dark bronze polyester powder paint.
OPTICAL SYSTEM
Porcelain, horizontally-oriented mogul-base socket with copper alloy,
nickel-plated screw shell and center contact. UL listed 1500W, 600V, 4kV
pulse rated. One distribution, RA2 is available. Reflector features computer
designed precision formed construction for high performance and
efficiency. Premium one-piece silicone gasket seals optical chamber to
inhibit entrance of outside contaminants.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Ballast is high power factor, constant-wattage autotransformer, copperwound and 100% factory-tested. Electrical components are mounted to the
cast aluminum housing, promoting maximum heat dissipation and are
accessible through front bezel.
INSTALLATION
Corrosion-resistant, heavy-duty, painted steel mounting yoke. Threequarter inch female threaded conduit hub provided.
LISTING
UL listed, Class 1, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, and D for hazardous locations.
UL listed for marine outside locations. IP65 rated in accordance with
standard IEC 529. Listed and labeled to comply with Canadian Standards
(see options).
