Adverbs modify verbs, adjectives, or other adverbs. Adjectives modify nouns and
pronouns.
Example:
We may never know the real facts in the case. (adjective)
We may never really know the facts in the case. (adverb)
The words good and well are often confused. Good is an adjective and, therefore,
always modifies a noun or pronoun.
Well is usually an adverb that is used to tell how something is done.
