SWIM LESSONS - 6 WEEKS
Taught by, Megan Reininger, American Red Cross certified instructor.
Location—Sperreng Middle School Pool
12111 Tesson Ferry Road—Please enter from the Concord School Road
side of building. Enter through the door with the canopy. Proceed down the stairs, enter
through the locker rooms or the silver door onto the pool deck. If you need to enter
without stairs, please enter through the back door of the building near the copy center. It
is the door furthest to the right.

Wednesdays—October 30, November 6, 13, 20, December 4 and 11
Fridays— November 8, 15, 22, December 6, 13 and 20
Parents are required to stay in the pool area, but are not needed in the water.
Guppies Level I: Preschool age children ( 4-6 years ) come get wet. Learn face
submersion, basic breath control and supported kicking and floating. This class is
designed as an introductory swim lesson course where children will continue basic water
skills.
Goldfish – Level II: Age (7-8 years) time to get moving for beginner level swimming
experience. We will teach object retrieval, gliding, arm movements and independent
floating. This class is designed as a beginner level swimming class where children will
learn the basic knowledge of swimming.
Flying Fish—Level 3—Level 3 is designed for intermediate swimmers who have some swim
background. Each class will focus on developing swim and water safety skills that will be
taught through repetition and encouragement of the instructor. The skills introduced will
include; pool safety, independent floating, bobbing, front crawl, and under water skills.
Dolphin—Level 4: Level 4 is designed for developing swimmers who have a swim background. Each class will focus on the developing swim and water safety skills that will be
taught through repetition and encouragement of the instructor(s). The skills introduced
will include: pool safety, deep water skills, bobbing, front crawl, backstroke, and
breaststroke.
Sharks—Level 5: Level 5 is designed for developing swimmers who have a swim background. Each class will focus on the refining of swim and water safety skills that will be
taught through repetition and encouragement of the instructors. The skills introduced
will include: pool safety, deep water skills, bobbing, front crawl, backstroke.
Adult Aerobics (17 and older) 7:00—8:00 p.m. FEE: $ 30 If you enjoy the water and
you like music, then this class is for you. Get a great workout while being kind to your
joints. Water shoes highly suggested.
Lap Swim—7:00-8:00 p.m.—Fee: $18 2 Lanes will be available during the 7-8:00 p.m.
water aerobics class for lap swimming.
