ADMINISTRATOR’S MESSAGE
For the second time in the past three years we have received the
premier lodge award. This award is given to a small percentage of
lodges who have met or exceeded nine different milestones established
by Moose International. This covers the 2015-2016 “Moose Year”
running from May 1st 2015 to April 30th 2016`. Every active LOOM and
WOTM member contributed to his award. Renewing your membership
and, in some cases, sponsoring a new member, help meet a milestone.
Organizing an event, volunteering to help, and attending an event were
also a key. Supporting our Social Quarters was another contributing
factor. Volunteering your time and talent saved us money not having to
go to the outside and pay for those services. Thanks to ALL of you.
This year the international convention will be held in St. Louis
from July 1st to July 5th. Rich McLaughlin will be representing our
lodge.
This year the District Picnic will be held on July 10th at the Henrietta
lodge. This is free to all active members and their families.
We continue steps to improve our “curb appeal.” The latest is adding
3 loads of stone in our parking lot. Hopefully this will eliminate the
annoying puddles. Our next project will be painting the entrance way
and the social quarters. If you can help contact Ken Walworth, our
building supervisor.

SENIOR REGENT LETTER
Summer is underway, and the W.O.T.M. now have a
suggestion box for potential fund raisers and positive
ideas directed to the women. It is located in the Social
Quarters.
I am looking into a "Paint Nite"© fundraising event in
August that will be open to the public to help with
achieving our chapter goals and to bring new
membership, information will be available shortly so
invite your friends, it will be great fun!
Congratulations to Tim Harrington on winning the
W.O.T.M. Dick's Sporting gift card raffle. Look for more
raffles and fun over the summer months.

Friday Fish Frys will be taking a summer vacation but will start
back up the first week of September. Taco Tuesday and Thursday
Wings and More will still be going on. Sunday food is still up in the
air but if the kitchen can get more volunteers – even for one
night a month – that can continue, As always, help is needed, so
please contact Kitchen Manager Karen O’Connor and let her
know when you’re available.
