100th Anniversary of Scott Joplin's Death
Live Ragtime with Mike Denham
Scott Joplin died in April 1917 and is buried in New York City. He was
dubbed the ‘King of Ragtime’ with such famous pieces as The Maple
Leaf Rag and The Entertainer. Acclaimed jazz pianist and raconteur,
Mike Denham will play some of his wonderful music and talk about
Joplin’s life. Licensed Bar 7pm—9.30pm.
