Specifications
1)
Determine configuration of Sandbox you are installing and if sandbox is to be installed above or below grade. Prepare site.
2)
Dig footings spaced as shown.
3)
Attach footer to Play Table as shown, using 3/8" x 1 1/2" flat head cap
screws through table top and into footer and secure with 3/8" low
crown cap nuts and 3/8" flat washers.
4)
Pour concrete into several holes and lay timbers into position over
surface. Push stakes through interlocking timbers and into concrete.
Keep timbers straight and plumb. Continue pouring concrete and
laying out timbers until all are in place. NOTE: Do not yet install
corner stake where Play Table sits.
5)
Pour concrete into play table footing holes and position play table on
timbers with support legs in footing holes. Line up hole in table and
timber and drive stake through hole and into concrete.
6)
Allow 48 hours for concrete to set before filling backfill.
TuffTimber: Blow-molded from U.V. stabilized 25% recycled/reclaimed linear high-density polyethylene. Walls are
minimum .080" thick x 4" wide x 12" high x 4'-4"
long, black in color.
Stake:
Made from 3/4" diameter x 30" long shaft. Finish:
Dacromet.
Play Table:
Solid color Permalene® measuring 41" x 41" x 58",
color specified.
Fasteners: Primary fasteners shall be socketed and pinned
tamperproof in design, stainless steel (SST) per ASTM
F 879 unless otherwise indicated (see specific product installation/specifications).
