Navigational Tips
Seattle is surprisingly hilly, and punctuated by numerous large and small bodies of water. Use
maps to plan your routes – and note that a number of streets (particularly downtown) run one-way
only.
Car:
It’s a good idea to strategize in advance where you will park. Street parking is metered, and lot
parking can be expensive (but more dependable). Most – but not all— parking lots accept debit or
credit card payments; carry some small bills for the ones that don’t.
Here are links to many sites, rates, and availability of parking lots and spaces.

Bus:
Most bus fares are $2.50. Board and pay with exact change at the front of the bus.
