Explanation
Write a biography with a minimum of 600 words that has
an introduction, 3 paragraphs and a conclusion. One
paragraph must be about the notable person's goals and
aspirations.
Interpretation
What do the actions of the notable person reveal about
their character? Select the two Magic Learner Profiles that
your notable person demonstrates most, in your opinion
and give examples of why you think this.
Explanation
Increase your word count of your biography to 800
words by ensuring that all your paragraphs are
using the SEE method of Statement, Explanation
and Example
Interpretation
This term we have been focusing on the following
attitudes, skills and profiles. As well as the two
learner profiles, pick 3-5 of these to write about
how your role model demonstrates these:
commitment; curiosity; independence; communicator; thinker;
researcher; self manager; inquirers and open minded.
Application
How and when can you use the knowledge you have
learnt about your role model to overcome obstacles,
challenges and constraints you might face in your life?
Reflect on how your life has or could be improved by
putting into practice the life lessons, wisdom and
experiences that your role model has demonstrated.

Application
As well as your reflection, use what you have
learnt from your role model to inspire others. To do
this you must record 3 quotes or lessons and
present them in a way of your choice on your
board.

may have about your notable person? Create a detailed
venn diagram with how you think a person in their life may
viewed their life differently to the way you do.

Self Knowledge
What are the limits of your knowledge about your notable
person? Create 7 questions that visitors can ask you about
your notable person on the night that you can answer off
the top of your head. You will need to practice these like
you would a speech.
Create a 3 ringed venn diagram to show 3
different points of view about the actions of
notable person.
Based on peer and teacher feedback ensure your
static image is at Level 3. You may need to try a
few attempts to achieve this.
Self Knowledge
Ask several people what they would like to know
about your notable person and use this to shape
at least 7 questions that the visitors could ask you.
Explanation

and ensure you have covered all of the criteria on the
'well written biography checklist'.
Interpretation
As well as the interpretation activities on the 'all must &
most should' section, choose 2 other supporting notable
people that have strongly demonstrated the same Magic
Learner Profiles Give examples of how they have also
demonstrated the same profile to achieve their goals an
aspirations.
Application
As well as your reflection, use what you have learnt from
your main role model & supporting role models to inspire
others by recording 3 quotes or life lessons tips from each
and present them in a way of your choice on your board.
