APPAS elevators was founded by Mr. Efstathios Pappas in 1979 and started off as a technical
office for elevators in the center of Athens. The founder’s ambition was the continuous evolution
and the connection of the name PAPPAS with elevators of superior quality.
After so many years of development and experience in the field, our company continues to
grow its share in the Greek market, while it has commercial and business presence in the Balkans (through
a branch in Albania, PAPPAS Ashensor), in Russia and neighboring countries, in the United Kingdom, in
Germany, and in Arab countries.
At the same time, PAPPAS elevators highlights innovation as a major priority and of value creating the only
center of innovation, research and development in Greece, exclusively for elevators, PAPPAS Innovation
Center - PiC. A modern facility space covering 5.500 m2, where the elevators of the future are being designed
from our own R&D Department.

Taking in consideration the company’s clientele size, we have solely achieved a customers’ satisfaction of

Pre-assembled Proton Elevators
PAPPAS elevators offers integrated transportation within buildings
such as passenger lifts, freights, car-lifts and special lifting systems
for the disabled.
Proton is the new logic, the new philosophy of elevators and has been
designed by Greek engineers of PAPPAS elevators.
Proton elevators are the first elevators in the global market that are
pre-assembled, tested and are operational before delivery to the customer!

The escalators and travelators of PAPPAS elevators provide

Car lifts – Parking Systems: A reliable and absolutely safe
choice that “unties” both the engineers’ and owners’ hands in cases

Caution: on freights and cargo, the transportation of people is FORBIDDEN!
The new building regulation (NBR 4067/ 2012) requires a mandatory provision for
people with special needs/ disable and/ or mobility problems, not only for new
buildings, but also for almost every existing one.

Repair - Certification
The certification of elevators is mandatory and must be issued for each
elevator as frequent as specified by the law. PAPPAS elevators carries out the completion of all documentation in order to ensure that your elevator is

building’s manager or the owner.
Upgrade - Renovation
Renovation pertains to the aesthetics of the elevator. There is the possibility to have a partial or
radical change in appearance done on your old elevator with the renovation solutions provided by
PAPPAS elevators.
Cabins, floor panels, and cabin doors can be replaced or coated offering a sense of complete change
to the elevator!

My name is Research & Development Dpt. but my friends call me R&D. Since I was little, I was more
inclined to mechanical and electronic/ electrical track of things. In my spare time, I like to find new ways
and patents. My dream is to find an absolutely innovative patent of product or service, such aas the
Proton series.
My name is PAPPAS Logistics, but you can call me pLog. From a little child I was very organizational,
direct and consistent. My biggest dream is to be housed in one high-tech warehouse, in terms of size,
control levels and procedures, such as PAPPAS Logistics Center, and sending Greek products across
the globe.
My name Production Department, or simply Production. From a very young age, the “creative”
concept was a was a great influence on my daily life. I wanted to implement and produce work that
would be useful and practical. My biggest goal is to be able to fully meet the needs of the market in
Greece and abroad, for a company like PAPPAS elevators.
