City Club at River Ranch Policies

City Club at River Ranch Policies
In these membership rules and policies, the terms Club and City Club at River Ranch mean the City Club at River Ranch, a social and
recreational club that is owned and operated by City Club at River Ranch, L.L.C., and the term Member means all members of the Club,
including, but not limited to, new members, current or existing members, and members whose memberships are transferred to the Club from
the City Club of Lafayette. In addition, the term Club Rules means, collectively, these membership rules and policies, along with all other Club
policies, rules, regulations, notices, and procedures, as enacted, modified, or supplemented from time-to-time.
GENERAL MATTERS
Applicability. The Club Rules apply to all Members of the Club. Application for membership in the Club, or the transfer, maintenance, or
continuation of membership in the Club, or the use of the Club, its facilities, or services as a Member, or the payment of any fees, dues, or
charges to the Club by a Member constitutes the Member's acknowledgment
Compliance. Each Member agrees to obey and be bound by all of the Club Rules. The Club reserves the right to modify or supplement the
Club Rules, and to enact new rules, at any time, at its discretion. Each Member is responsible for being familiar with all Club Rules, as modified
or supplemented. Members are also responsible for ensuring that their family and guests are familiar with and obey all Club Rules.
Designation of Membership Category. Each Member is responsible for ensuring that the Member has been assigned to the appropriate
membership category in the Club. The current categories of membership in the Club are listed in the section entitled Membership Categories,
Dues, Fees, and Charges, set forth below. If at any time the Club learns that a Member has been assigned to the wrong membership category,
the Club may transfer the membership to the appropriate category and charge the Member for the difference in dues and fees, which will
become immediately due and payable. The Club's failure to transfer or delay in transferring a membership to the appropriate membership
category is not a waiver of its right to do so. The Club reserves the exclusive right to make new designations or categories of membership from
time-to-time, at its sole discretion.
Membership is a Privilege. The Club is a private membership club comprised of an association of persons for social and recreational
purposes. Club facilities and services are limited to Members and their guests and are not open to the general public. The Club reserves the
right to deny membership in the Club to any person, or to reject any application for membership or any transfer of a membership in or to the
Club. Membership conveys privileges in the Club and its facilities, but not any rights, and does not have any independent monetary value.
No Ownership. Membership in the Club does not give the Member any ownership or property interest in the Club, or in any entity or
organization that owns or operates the Club, or in any of the Club's real estate and improvements, or other real or personal properties or rights.
A Member has no voting interest or right to participate in the Club's management or governance. A Member is not entitled to any distributions
or share in any of the Club's assets, profits, or income.
Club's Right to Terminate. No person has any right or guarantee to membership or to continued membership in the Club. The Club may
cancel any Member's membership at any time, for any reason, or for no reason, with or without cause, at its sole discretion. If a Member's
membership in the Club is cancelled, all of the former Member's privileges attributable to the membership will immediately cease. The Club
will not pay or be obligated to pay any monetary amount to any person for the cancellation of a membership.
A Member's Right to Terminate. A Member may cancel his or her membership in the Club at any time upon 30 days' prior written notice
to the Club, but the cancellation will not relieve the Member of the obligation to pay the Club all dues, fees, and charges that are outstanding as
of the date of cancellation. If the cancelled member is to re-join the Club within 30 days, the whole initiation fee will apply.
Freeze Policy. A member has the option of putting their membership on hold for a minimum of 2 months and a maximum of 6 months,
once every two years for medical purposes. In this time frame, the member will not be charged dues. However, there will be a $25.00 per month
administrative charge to hold the membership for that person. His or Her membership will be considered inactive for the assigned months,
and it will reactivate automatically on the date assigned by the member. When a member is on the status of freeze, everyone on that account
is considered inactive. These charges on the account will only take place on the first of the month. If City Club is notified after the first of the
month, the member must wait to freeze until the first of the upcoming month.
No Assignability. Membership in the Club may not be assigned to any person or entity.
Pet and Animal Policy. For the safety of Members and their Guests, animals and pets are not allowed in the Fitness Center, Grill and Bar,
Spa, Proshop, or on the Tennis Courts. Exceptions include service animals and special events with prior management approval. All service

the continuous full control of their owners and should be in the physical presence of the owner at all times. Owners are expected to clean up,
completely and immediately, after their animals. Owners are completely and solely liable for any injuries or any damage to personal property
caused by the animal. Any repair or cleaning/maintenance costs incurred by an animal will be charged in full to the owner. City Club at River
