Cross country: Ell done to the 20 children who
competed at Knighton Park on Friday. To finish a
cross-country race is an achievement in itself and the
competition was tough! Congratulations to Success
who qualified for the County Finals at Prestwold Hall
on Saturday 25th March.
Gymnastics Level 3 School Games
The gold medal winning Key Steps 3 team travelled to Oakham on
Wednesday to compete in the next stage of the competition. They
performed admirably and finished 6th out of all teams in
Leicestershire and Rutland. This is a fantastic achievement, well
done to the girls, Mrs Haynes, Mrs Smith and Mrs Hardyman who
coach the children. If you would like to start our school gym club as
a beginner, please speak to Mrs Bramley or Mrs Smith.
SEND REVIEW: We were visited by 2
inspectors who are reviewing provision for
children with Special Educational Needs and
Disabilities across the East Midlands. They
were very positive about the provision,
inclusion and ethos at Stokes Wood. Thank
you to the parents who joined the discussion
and answered questions about the SEND offer
at Stokes Wood.
