BOARD MEETING DATE: 1/21/2016
SUBJECT: Shaw HR Consulting, Inc. Services Agreement
PROPOSAL: Contract with Shaw HR Consulting, Inc. beginning December 17, 2015 through
June 30, 2016.
RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve an agreement
with Shaw HR Consulting, Inc. for the purposes of consulting, coordination and facilitation of the
Interactive Disability Accommodation process in accordance with requirements of the
Government Code § 12940. The terms of this agreement is from December 17, 2015 through
June 30, 2016.
SUPPORTING INFORMATION:
Background & Summary: In the absence of an Executive Director, Human Resources, Shaw
HR Consulting, Inc, will provide consulting services in the areas of coordination and facilitation
of the Interactive Disability Accommodation process in accordance with requirements of the
Government Code § 12940.
Fiscal Impact of Proposal: Not to exceed $5,000.00 (funds available due to Executive
Director, Human Resources Vacancy)
