This workshop will introduce participants to RecoveryAssurance and structured aftercare monitoring programs available to everyone not just impaired professionals. Participants will be able to recognize effective relapse prevention tools, learn about the structure of and the role of monitoring and advocacy as part of a continuing care program and better understand how collaboration among treatment providers, family members, employers and recovering individuals through monitoring and advocacy can help to prevent relapse. A Collaborative Divorce Intensive: Understanding What Collaboration Divorce Can Do For Your Practice and Your Clients Dr. Tina Lepage, a licensed psychologist specializing in families and divorce, Deborah Throm or Laura Irwin, a family law and alternative dispute resolution attorney and Philip Rusnak, the founder of Divorce Settlement Solutions will present and facilitate discussion on Collaborative Divorce. The Collaborative Divorce process is the first divorce process to focus on protecting the well-being, dignity and emotions of the family as a whole throughout a divorce. With a divorce rate of 50%, EA Professionals work with people who are being affected by divorce on a daily basis. This workshop will introduce participants to Collaborative Divorce, and the role of the attorney, mental health professional and financial analyst in Collaborative Divorce. Participants will be better able to serve their clients by becoming a resource to inform and educate their clients about this new kinder, gentle way to divorce and to learn to practice as coaches and child specialist in collaborative divorce.
