Jets in the Community
The Jets and STOMP Out Bullying will host the first Anti-bullying Awareness Day on Sept. 27 at MetLife
Stadium when the Jets take on the Philadelphia Eagles. This event is designed to tackle bullying by
increasing awareness of all forms of bullying, promoting STOMP Out Bullying’s mission of reducing and
preventing bullying, and, most important, providing resources to those who need help.
Anti-bullying Awareness Day will include a $50,000 check presentation to STOMP Out Bullying for our
sponsorship of 1,000 free Jets-branded STOMP Out Bullying Educator’s Prevention Toolkits for tristate
area schools. In addition, on videoboards throughout the stadium our public service announcement
featuring Jets wide receiver Eric Decker that debuted on Sept. 3 will be shown. Fans will be encouraged
to go to www.stompoutbullying.org for help if they are or know someone who is a victim of bullying.
Finally, we will host 100 students, teachers and staff from Albert Leonard Middle School in New
Rochelle, NY, to honor their commitment to anti-bullying at their school.
