PSP News Release: On 07/16/16, at approximately 2111 hours, a robbery occurred at the Walgreens pharmacy located at 190 Wilmington West Chester Pike, Concord Township, Delaware County. A male suspect entered the store, pointed a black handgun at employees, and demanded cash from the registers. The employees removed the cash from two registers and placed it into a black drawstring bag that was carried by the suspect. The suspect fled on foot to Ruby Road at Beaver Valley Road where he entered the front passenger side of a vehicle that had been waiting in the area. The suspect vehicle fled west on Beaver Valley Road towards the state of Delaware. The suspect was described as a male, approximately 5’7”-5’10”, stocky build with excess fat around his belly and sides, wearing a reddish/orange flat brim hat with an unknown symbol, a gray mask that covered the lower half of his face, a white long sleeve t-shirt, dark sweatpants with a light colored circular symbol in the area of the left pant pocket, and black shoes or boots. The suspect was wearing gloves and displayed a black semi-automatic handgun. The suspect was carrying a black drawstring bag.
