Smithtown Youth Bureau to Host Talent Show Fundraiser “So U Think Youth Got Talent” Auditions October 6th & 7th
The Town of Smithtown Youth Bureau will be hosting a town-wide “So U Think Youth
Got Talent” fundraising event to support the efforts of the Smithtown Children’s Foundation and
Kings Park in the kNOw. The show will be professionally produced by Idol Entertainment,
working with 106.1BLI.
Audition Applications are now being accepted for the show; please
check the Youth Bureau site www.smithtownny.gov/youthbureau. The auditions are scheduled
for Tuesday, October 6th at Great Hollow Middle School (3-5pm & 6-8 pm) and on Wednesday,
October7th at Kings Park High School (3-5pm & 6-8 pm). The Talent Show is open to all
performers who attend school (K-12th) within the Town of Smithtown (Kings Park, Commack,
Smithtown and Hauppauge school districts). The “So U Think Youth Got Talent” performance will
take place on Friday, November 6th, 2015 from 6pm to 9 pm at Kings Park High School. Winning acts
will be awarded prizes.
Tickets will be sold at the flat rate of $10 per person. A Chinese auction will be held in the
lobby of Kings Park High School. All raffle items were donated from local business to raise money for
the two charities. If you would like to reserve a resource table to promote your center/business, tables are
available for a separate $35 fee. Please specify that a resource table is requested, when you register. ALL
fees will be donated directly to the two charitable organizations.
