VEGETABLES
1.
In selecting vegetables for exhibition, choose such specimens that would
bring the highest market price. Do not select the largest; select medium
size specimens. Do not mix varieties.
2.
Read premium material, carefully following all rules and regulations. If an
entry calls for five specimens, be sure to exhibit that number; do not enter
four or six. YOUR EXHIBITS WILL BE DISQUALIFIED IF AN
INCORRECT NUMBER OF SPECIMENS IS ENTERED.
3.
Only one item may be entered per class.
4.
Entry forms must be submitted to Diane Mott, 300 Grimms Road #1,
Honesdale PA 18431, by July 1, 2016. There is an entry fee of $2.00
per person – this must accompany your entry form. Please make
checks payable to Wayne County Fair.
**NEW THIS YEAR** Entry day will be on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from
1pm – 7pm. Judging will be taking place on Thursday morning. **
There will be an entry tag pick up day on Monday, July 25th from 4pm-6pm,
please indicate on your entry form if you wish to pick up your tags or have them
mailed. Any tags not picked up that day will be mailed (those indicating they
would like their tags mailed will have them mailed prior to or on pick up day)
Premiums for class # 1 – 159, 162 – 164 are as follows.
