What is the High School
Counselor Suite?
• Allows high school counselors to view the
application status of students
• Counselors can see a list of their students and
drill down into the specific applications for
their students
• Counselors can also see whether their
students have begun or completed a FAFSA
application
Authorization
• ApplyTexas team authorizes Education Service
Center Region Contacts for each of the TEA
Regions
• ESC Region Contacts are responsible for
authorizing high school counselors from their
TEA region
• Counselors are authorized for one high school
for one year
• District-Level Counselors are authorized for
multiple high schools for one year
Authorization, continued
• For a counselor to get authorization, they
should contact their region contact.

• Only applications for future semesters are
displayed
• A download of the data is available via button
at the top of the screen
• Searchable via the search box in the upper

• A full download of students and their
application information is available via button

• Application IDs and Student User IDs are not
