PASTOR’S CORNER
Happy Father’s Day! We give great thanks
this day for dads, grandfathers, uncles, coaches,
teachers, pastors, mentors and other men who
have shepherded us through life. We also lift up
those who struggle on this day due to pain and
sorrow in their own family relationships. May
God bless us all in all our relationships, that we
may be more Christ-like in our walk with God.
Pastor Keith Fair
DISCIPLESHIP THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK
“Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we
have peace with God through our Lord Jesus
Christ, through whom we have obtained access
to this grace in which we stand; and we boast in
our hope of sharing the glory of God.”
–Romans 5:1,2
Read the Bible verses again and point out the
spiritual gifts we have received from God. First,
there’s our justification (or salvation) through
faith, then peace, grace, and finally hope. Wow,
those are pretty big gifts! Spend a moment in
silent prayer meditating on the gifts. Breathe
deeply and think these phrases: Thank you, God,
for salvation. Thank you, God, for peace. Thank
you, God, for grace. Thank you, God, for Hope.
Repeat and repeat!
