HIGHLIGHTS & PORTS
DAY 1: USA – Munich
Depart the USA for Munich today.

Day 2: Munich
Upon arrival in Munich you will be greeted at
the airport and transported to your Munich area
hotel. Located at the river Isar in the south of
Bavaria, is famous for its beautiful architecture,
fine culture, and the annual Oktoberfest beer
celebration. Munich’s cultural scene is second
to none in Germany. Although it was heavily
damaged by allied bombing during World War II,
many of its historic buildings have been rebuilt
and the city center appears mostly as it did in the

Day 3: Munich - Passau
Today you will enjoy a tour of the city of Munich.
Continuing on you will enjoy a scenic drive to Passau where you will enjoy a city tour. This fairy-tale
city founded more than 2,000 years ago. With its
unique charm and atmosphere, Passau is one
of the most beautiful and spectacular German
cities on the Danube. Later this afternoon we will
transfer you to the elegant Amadeus Royal. Upon
embarkation, you will be greeted with a welcome drink. The 5-star Amadeus Royal, recently
refurbished from stem to stern, is sure to offer
outstanding accommodations for your 7 night
cruise. Welcome Aboard Dinner. (B,D)
Day 4: Melk
We reach Melk/Emmersdorf in Lower Austria this
morning. Enjoy the included Tour of Melk Abbey
which is listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Site
and Austria’s largest baroque abbey. Located
on the bank of the Danube River, Melk Abbey
stands crowned by towers and resplendent
in a golden hue. Especially noteworthy is the
church with magnificent frescoes by Johann
Michael Rottmayr and the library containing
countless medieval manuscripts. No trip to
Austria would be complete without a visit to this
abbey. Arrive back to the ship in time for lunch.
Enjoy an afternoon of fantastic views of the river
landscapes as the Royal cruises toward Vienna.
After dinner, you might enjoy our optional Sounds
of Vienna Concert.

Day 5: Vienna
After breakfast you will explore the fascinating
city of Vienna on our included Vienna City Tour.
Explore Vienna’s magnificent Ring Boulevard with
all its glorious sights such as the Vienna State
Opera, Imperial Palace, Parliament and City Hall.
You will fall in love with this city. This afternoon
enjoy exploring on your own or join our optional
Schonbrunn Palace Tour which affords a visit to
the former imperial residence of Empress Maria
Theresia. The palace is one of Austria’s most
significant cultural sights. (B,L,D)
Day 6: Budapest
After breakfast you arrive in the twin old world
capitals, Buda & Pest, which are linked by many
wonderful bridges spanning the Danube. Enjoy
an included City Tour of Budapest. The tour
includes such sites as Fisherman’s Bastion & St.
Matthias Church. A must see is the view from
Citadell Hill and then see Parliament building and
Hero’s Square. Enjoy a free afternoon to leisurely
stroll through this beautiful European city often
called the ‘Queen of the Danube’. This evening
after dinner, enjoy a Hungarian folklore group we
have invited onboard to entertain you.

Day 7: Budapest
This morning offers one last chance to stroll
the streets of Budapest or purchase a bit more
paprika from the marketplace. For those looking
for a bit more of Hungarian culture, you may
wish to sign up for our optional Puszta Tour
that will take you out into the countryside on a
historical journey to see how paprika became the
“red gold” of the Kalocsa Region. Visit a home
of a local family and enjoy a short folk dance
performance and old world craft demonstrations.
Those enjoying the Optional tour will meet the
ship in Esztergom in time for dinner. Those
choosing to stay onboard will enjoy lunch
onboard as we set sail for Bratislava. (B, L, D)
Day 8: Bratislava
This morning we visit Bratislava, the capital
of Slovakia, is situated at the foothills of the
Carpathian Mountains on the banks of the
Danube River. Enjoy an included City Walking
Tour of this carefully restored old town. Stroll
through Kapilus Lane, where you will be able
see the seminar of the priests as well as the
Gothic Church of the Clarissin Order. The market
square features the highlights of the Old Town,
the Roland fountain, the impressive townhouses
of the former nobility and the ‘Primatial Palace’
with its remarkable gallery of famous European
artists. The 17th century Gobelin collection is
particularly worth seeing. On the way back to the
vessel, you will pass by the ‘Hviedaslav Square’
with the Opera House, the Ganymed Fountain
and the concert hall. Enjoy lunch as we head for
Linz. (B,L,D)
Day 9: Linz
A morning of cruising the glorious Danube is in
store, so sit back in your cabin or on the Sun Deck
and enjoy. This afternoon we arrive in Linz and
embark on our included Walking Tour of this city
founded by the Romans. Take a stroll down the
main street which leads to the medieval town
square. Enjoy the world famous Linzer Torte
(Linzer Cake) in one of the local bakeries. This
evening is our Captain’s Farewell Dinner (B, L, D)
Day 10: Passau-Munich-USA
After disembarking, we will travel to Munich,
Germany for your flight home, taking with you
warm memories of new places and friends. (B)

Refunds: Cancellations made more than 180 days prior to departure for any reason, will be issued a refund less $450 per person. Cancellations
made 150 days to 125 days prior to departure date will receive a refund less $1,000 per person. Cancellations made 124 to 61 days prior to
departure date will receive a refund of 50% of the total trip cost. Any cancellations made within 60 days of departure will be charged 100% of
total trip cost. Each CD traveler receives our comprehensive Trip Interruption Insurance including Medical, Baggage, and Missed Connection
insurance, plus Emergency Assistance Services. CD strongly encourages participants to purchase an additional trip cancellation plan. Plans
are available through us at www.chamberdiscoveries.com. Written notice of cancellation is required and is effective when received by Chamber
Discoveries during normal business hours.
Note: Valid U.S. passport required. Single supplements are limited. Passport, tips to guides, airline bag fees, airport/departure taxes paid locally,
visa, credit card payment fees and other items of a personal nature are not included. Order of events, flights, hotels, taxes, charges, fees and fuel

River level advisory: Too much rain or not enough can alter your cruise itinerary. Rising or falling rivers and can mean that passage under low
bridges is not possible or that water levels are too shallow to permit cruising.
This trip is arranged by Chamber Discoveries (“CD”), a DBA of Adelman Travel Systems, Inc., a Wisconsin corporation. It has made the travel arrangements as agent for the
transportation carriers & other suppliers (“SUPS”) of services connected with the tour, all of which are independent contractors. CD in no way owns or operates the vehicles or
facilities to be used during the trip, & does not guarantee or assume responsibility for the acts &/or omissions of SUPS, their employees, agents, etc. All bookings are accepted
subject to the conditions imposed by SUPS & CD, including airline, cruise line, rail, coach, hotel, restaurants, insurance, & other companies, firms or persons concerned with the
trip, & CD will make no refund in the event of their delay, cancellations, overbooking, strike, bankruptcy, force majeure or for elements of the package not used by customer.

Extensions require minimum participation numbers and as such are subject to cancellation, change and price changes based upon participation rates. Trips outside the
