Science and Spectacle in 1800s Baltimore
Join science educator and Johns Hopkins alum
Dr. Louis B. Rosenblatt for an engaging discussion
about the early demonstrations of science that were
presented as thrilling entertainment in venues like
Peale’s Baltimore Museum and the parlors of polite
society. A Phantasmagoria or magic lantern show
and reception will follow, with an opportunity to
visit the exhibition. Free to all with museum admission.
