Greetings ABC Members,
Spring is in the air and it is time to change things. With May’s
training comes election. The current board has served ABC for the
past 3-4 years and we feel it is time to step down. I know that
volunteering is always a scary thing, but it is so important that we
get new people on the board. It is never good for any association to
have the same board over and over, especially with an association
this size. A new board would officially start in July as there is no
training in June due to the Growing Futures website changes. So as
we step down, we look forward to seeing what the new board has in
store for ABC! We also would like to thank you for allowing us to
serve ABC these past years. Enjoy the summer and get those kiddos
outside to PLAY!

Handprints Poem
When I am big you will not remember
the mud I tracked in on the stairs.
Instead I hope that you will hear my
laugh that eased your cares.
The smudges that I leave on the
walls will someday fade away.
But the memories of my first steps
will be cherished every day.

As for these two handprints…
someday you will be glad
that we took the time to make
a mess that didn’t make you mad.
