North America

●
North America is
where the United
States of America is
located. Do we live in
the United States?
What are the countries
above and below the
United States?
South America
●
South America is the
continent SOUTH of
North America. Do
you know any
countries in South
America? Have you
ever been there?
Europe
●
Europe is EAST of
North America. It is a
bunch of countries
that look like they are
scattered and not all
together.
Asia
●
●
Asia is connected to
Europe. Asia is
directly EAST of
Europe.
What is the biggest
country that you can
see in Asia??
Africa
●
●
Africa is SOUTH of
Europe and Asia and
is EAST of North and
South America.
What do you know
about Africa??
Antarctica
●
Antarctica is all the way
at the SOUTHERN end
of the map. It is the white
colored continent. If you
were to turn and look at
the bottom of the globe,
Antarctica would look
like this the second
picture.
Australia
●
●
Australia is SOUTH
of Asia and Europe
and is EAST of
Africa.
Is Australia the
smallest of the 7
continents?
Pacific Ocean
●
The Pacific Ocean is
located to the WEST
of North and South
America in between
the continents where
the darker blue area is
shaded.
Atlantic Ocean
●
The Atlantic Ocean
shown is bordered by
North and South
America, Africa and
Europe. The Atlantic
is shown in the darker
blue shaded areas.
Indian Ocean
●
The Indian Ocean is
located to the EAST
of Africa, to the
SOUTH of Asia and
to the WEST of
Australia. It is also
located to the
NORTH of
Antarctica.
Arctic Ocean
●
The Arctic Ocean is
hard to see on a flat
map. You can see it
easier on a 3dimensional globe. It
is located NORTH of
North America and
Asia.
Student Activities

on their own personal maps to navigate through
their maps as I give directions to certain
