WALK NOW FOR AUTISM SPEAKS CANADA
Walk to Raise Awareness and Funds for Autism Research and Family Services Grants on May 27th, 2012
MONTREAL, QC (April 25, 2012)– MEGA Brands Inc. (TSX: MB) announced today that it will return as the
Presenting Sponsor of the 2012 Walk Now for Autism Speaks event taking place on May 27th, 2012 at the
Stade Uniprix in Montreal.
Walk Now for Autism Speaks is the signature fundraising event for Autism Speaks Canada. Last year, the
inaugural Montreal Walk raised a total of $202,000, with funds supporting Canadian research initiatives
and also assisting five Montreal-based organizations including The Miriam Foundation and Studio Sans
Limites. These organizations received Family Services Community Grants to provide programs and
services to individuals with autism spectrum disorders.
