You should have received an invitation to participate through Survey Monkey and we hope you will respond between now and September 19th. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Landis at [email protected]. Visit MAA’s Booth at Community Day Mount Aviat will have a booth again this year at Newark’s Community Day on the University of Delaware Campus. There are lots of great giveaways at the different booths and it’s a great way to meet all the different people in our community. Please stop by and say hello if you are there! The event starts at 11 a.m. and goes to 4 p.m. Volunteer Background Check All coaches and volunteers who work directly with our students must have a background check to be cleared. Hyden & Associates processes the criminal background checks. This year the application can be completed online. Simply login to the site dedicated to Mount Aviat. https://www.cognitoforms.com/BaseEntInc/MountAviatAcademy Paper applications can also be completed and mailed to Hyden. The form is available on our website under Parents>Forms & Resources>General. If you have had a criminal background check in the past 5 years, simply send the report to Sr. John Elizabeth. Please Update or Add Grandparents’ Information in RenWeb You may recall adding grandparent contact information in RenWeb as you completed your children’s enrollment packets. For families who are new to Mount Aviat Academy, we ask for this information because our grandparents are very important to us. We know how important they are in your lives and those of your children. We want to include them in invitations to our shows, school activities, and most especially, our annual Grandparents’ Day Celebration in the spring. We invite them to participate in our annual drive and “Prayer Partner” group as well as other school functions. Their names will remain on our benefactor list to receive the Oblate Sisters’ and the Mount Aviat Academy students’ grateful prayers. If you have not added this information or need to change any information such as an address, please log in to ParentsWeb, click on Web Forms, and then click on Family Demographic Forms. To update information, click on the link next to the name. To add someone, click Add Person. Please update this information by October 14.
