Under this special arrangement with DSD, members that wish to certify their employees with the Malaysian Skills Certification can apply for 100% subsidy on first-come first-serve basis. ABOUT THE APPLICATION PROCESS Members who are interested to get their employees certified through this Programme should complete and return the following documents to MPMA by Tuesday, 30 August 2016 : ABOUT RECOGNITION OF PRIOR ACHIEVEMENT Recognition of Prior Achievement is a Programme to award employees who do not have any formal qualification, but can demonstrate skills based on working experience as outlined in the National Occupational Skills Standards (NOSS). ii. Copy of the applicant’s NRIC. WHO CAN PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROGRAMME? All employees who have the necessary skills and knowledge either through work experience or training (formal or informal) can participate in this Programme. Employees who qualify can be awarded with the Malaysian skills certification up to the highest level according to their respective fields. Certification for the following occupational titles are available for application: i. FORM A and B (please download the form from www.mpma.org.my). iii. Copies of the applicant's Malaysian Skills Certificate(s) (if any). iv. Other relevant documents. Subsequent to submitting the above documents, please ensure that employees prepare the following documents as evidence for the next step of the application process. i. FORM C on portfolio development (project(s) undertaken based on the applied certification title). PROGRAMME FEES AND SUBSIDY Each certification level costs RM300.
