Expertly extracted espresso, properly textured milk, chilled Hudson Valley Fresh milks, filtered hot water, filtered cold water, 24 hour cold brew, properly extracted drip coffee, organic chai concentrate, properly steeped loose leaf teas – these are the ingredients that make up our entire drink list. We do not utilize the use of flavored syrups, additives, sugar or herbs in any of our drinks. The coffee speaks for itself. All of our beverages adhere to the 3rd wave specialty coffee standards set forth by the SCAA. By default, all of our milk drinks are textured wet, though, we can texture a milk dry upon request. Drink Descriptions Espresso (esp) Our espresso is just shy of a triple shot pulled ristretto. Ristretto, an Italian word, directly translates to “restricted”, meaning, there is less liquid in the cup than a standard shot of espresso – 1.5oz of liquid to be exact. A triple shot is 1.5oz of water pulled through 17 - 20 grams of finely ground specialty coffee. A standard single shot contains the same liquid volume (1.5oz) but is made with 7 grams of coffee. One could liken our shot to a triple condensed shot of espresso. Drip Coffee: Properly pre-infused and extracted coffee. If adding milk, it goes in the bottom. Typically brewed with one of our single origin coffees. Size: 10oz (iced) Hot Tea - High quality loose leaf tea from Eco-Prima in Tarrytown, NY properly bagged and steeped in filtered hot water Size: 12oz (hot) / 16oz option Iced Tea – Properly steeped loose leaf tea from Eco-Prima and comes in the flavors Passion-berry black tea and Chinese green tea (both unsweetened) Size: 12oz/20oz (iced) Drink Prep Guide ****All beverages that require the use of the espresso machine will have a drink ticket that prints out for the order that needs to be placed on the bar along with prepped cup (when applicable). ORDER TAKING PROTOCOL: 1) “Hi! What can I do for you?” 2) You will repeat their order back to them to double check you’ve heard it correctly. “Ok! One cortado! Would you like to have that here or take it to go?” 3) If it’s to go, you’ll grab the appropriate size of to go cup and get the person’s name and write it and the order on the cup. Input the order into the Ipad, finalize the transaction and prompt the client to pick up their order down at the pick up area of the counter. If they do no specify what kind of milk they want we default to whole milk. If they specify a milk choice you will make sure to write it on the cup and enter it into the Ipad. 4) If it’s for here you’ll simply input the order into the Ipad, finalize the transaction, prompt the client to pick up their drink down at the pickup area of the counter and place your drink ticket on the bar in sequence of newest to oldest including any necessary drink prep when applicable. 5) For any beverage that could accommodate the use of milk you will prompt them for milk (drip coffee, hot tea, iced tea, cold brew, Americano, Red Eye) defaulting to whole milk unless they specify otherwise.
