THE CASE: Sherlock Holmes has disappeared in the middle of trying to solve a mysterious case in
Nanaimo, BC. Get your investigative instincts in gear and help us crack the case to unlock over $1300 in
private eye prizes – helicopter flights, escape room experiences and tickets to see Sherlock live on stage
on November 15 & 16 at The Port Theatre!
HOW TO PLAY:
Step 1: Interrogate the witnesses through the online quiz. What was the last case Sherlock
Holmes was working on? What was he wearing? Was he carrying anything unusual? And where
exactly was he last seen before he disappeared?
Step 2: Follow the evidence. Go to Sherlock’s last known location between the times specified to
interrogate the final witness.
Step 3: Piece the clues together to find Sherlock once and for all!
But hurry: other detectives are hot on your heels, and the first ones to solve the mystery get the highest
rewards!

Prize Rules and Regulations
1. Helijet Helicopter passes shall be awarded to the Random Draw winner in the form of gift
certificates and are each valid for a one-way flight from Nanaimo to Vancouver or Vancouver to
Nanaimo. Book flights by calling 1-800-665-4354 and providing your Quick Ticket number or 6
digit account number stamped on the end of the ticket. It is recommended winners book flights
in advance. All flights are subject to availability. Passes expire September 26, 2017.
2. The Random Draw will be held on Monday, November 14th, 2016. The chance of winning
depends upon number of eligible entries received.
3. Breakout Nanaimo Group Passes shall be awarded in the form of gift certificates and are valid
for up to 6 people. Not valid Friday after 5pm, or Saturdays. Contact Breakout Nanaimo 250591-9867 to book your escape room experience.
4. Tickets to Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery must be booked over the phone or in person
at The Port Theatre Ticket Centre 250-754-8550, 125 Front St. Nanaimo BC. Tickets are only
valid Tuesday, November 15 at 7:30pm or Wednesday, November 16 at 7:30pm.
5. Prizes are not redeemable in cash and must be accepted as awarded. No substitutions will be
available. All other costs and expenses associated with this prize package, including and without
limitation to, all additional transportation if required, additional accommodations if required,
meals, upgrades, gratuities, insurance, taxes and items of a personal nature are the
responsibility of the winner. Restrictions may apply to certain services.
6. By accepting the prize, the winner authorizes the use, without additional compensation of his or
her name and/or likeness and/or voice/photograph for promotion and/or advertising purposes
in any manner and any medium which the Port Theatre Society or TheatreOne may deem
appropriate.
7. By accepting the prize, the winner acknowledges that the Port Theatre Society or TheatreOne
may not be held liable for any loss, damages, or injury associated with accepting or using these
prize packages. Before being declared a winner the selected entrant will be required to sign and
return the contest sponsor's declaration and release form confirming acceptance of and
compliance with the official contest rules and acceptance of prize as offered; acknowledging the
non-responsibility of the sponsors, its agent, and the prize suppliers in respect to injuries,
accident, loss or misfortune relating to the contest or the awarding of the prize. If prize
documents are not returned within 24 hours of delivery thereof the prize will be forfeited and
awarded to an alternate winner.

8. The Port Theatre Society and TheatreOne retain the right in their absolute and sole discretion to
make substitutions of equivalent kind or approximate value in the event of unavailability of any
prize or component of the prize for any reason whatsoever.
9. This contest is subject to all federal, provincial, and municipal laws.
10. The Port Theatre Society and TheatreOne Board members and employees or their immediate
family members are not eligible to win the Sherlock Mystery Contest prizes.
11. The Port Theatre Society and TheatreOne reserve the right to withdraw or terminate this
contest without prior notice.
12. Contest open from November 10th, 2016 through to November 13th, 2016 at 5pm.
