The Ellenwood Town Center Redevelopment Plan
and Tax Allocation District was approved in 2003.
It encompasses approximately 400 acres at the
intersection of I-675 and Anvil Block Road, just south
of I-285 in Clayton County. The focal point of the
development is a major new shopping, dining
and entertainment “lifestyle center” called Ellenwood Town Center that offers distinctive retail
on a pedestrian-friendly scale.

Super Wal-Mart—198,000 square feet;
opening May 2008
Retail Center—79,000 square feet;

Village Crossing—Base Price $190,000;
145 units; 1800-2500 square feet
Village Park—Base Price $205,900;
191 units; 1900-3100 square feet
Economic Benefits at Buildout:
$165 billion in additional personal income
6,190 jobs—directly and indirectly– on an average
annual basis
Increase state and local taxes collected by
$333.3 million
