No Pre-Observation Conference

requested by either the Certified Staff
Member or Evaluator or both
In the Certified Staff Member’s primary
areas of responsibility (variety of class
periods/content areas, team meetings,
etc.)
Done with full knowledge of the Certified
Staff Member
Done in the presence of the Evaluator
Include documentation of the
observation provided to the Certified
Staff Member
Formal Observations:
- Announced
- A minimum of 45 minutes, or complete
lesson, or entire class period
- Include Pre-Observation and PostObservation Conferences
- In the Certified Staff Member’s primary
areas of responsibility (variety of class
periods/content areas, team meetings,
etc.)
- Done with full knowledge of Certified
Staff Member
- Done in the presence of the Evaluator
- Include documentation of the
observation provided to the Certified
