St Goar has countless cafés and wine bars as well as Rheinfels Castle. Oberwesel is the next town
over, can also drive to Frankfurt which is the financial capital of Germany.

dress code: no exposed shoulders or skin above the knee.
- Grand Palace & Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew, most sacred temple in
Thailand)
-Wat Pho- Temple with massive (45m) reclining Buddha.
-Wat Arun- take the ferry across the river. Able to climb to the top.
-From here you can hire a long tail boat to explore the canals
- Saranrom Park; nice place along the way to take a break.
- Giant Swing and Wat Suthat - beautiful old Buddhist temple and historic structure outside it.
Getting to Don Muang Airport- Taxi is easiest, takes 30 mins to 1hr depending on traffic, will cost
around 350 baht ($10).

early morning. It's not recommended to leave during the festival as the streets are gridlocked
and closures are unpredictable.
