Bird Checklist
Updated August 2016
158 species
A checklist of all the bird species seen at
Random Harvest Nursery in all the habitats
present. This includes the nursery area
with its large acacias, trees and shrubs,
surrounding gardens, the grassland, the
dam at the bottom of the property and
bushed areas on the property, as well as
the exotic trees that are present.
Overflying birds can be added to the list.
The abundance code gives an indication of
relative abundance as well as seasonality;
e.g. 1a would be a common summer
migrant and 3 would be an uncommon
South African resident species.
For any additional species seen contact
