The FAEA Conference
While we were “hunkering down” for Hurricane Matthew, the FAEA
Conference was in full swing in Naples, FL. Tony Sznakowski and
Judi Evans were among two of this year’s presenters! If you didn’t
get a chance to attend this year, be on the lookout to attend next
year when it is held in St. Petersburg!
The Florida Art Education Association (FAEA) is a membership
association dedicated to providing visual art educators in Florida
with the knowledge, skills and support that will ensure the highest
quality instruction possible to all students in Florida.
Want us to feature
you or your
students’ work??

Have a TON of
broken crayons?!?!
Are your students breaking your
crayons just to push your buttons?!?!
Fret no more!
Bring your broken crayons to
Laurie at the Art Resource Center and she can repurpose them
into different shapes, to then be
used in the classroom or distributed as prizes for hard work,
good behavior, etc.
Supply Order Update
Elementary Teachers: Tony has been entering Elementary Supply Orders
like CRAZY! He anticipates being finished with these orders by
Thanksgiving break. Be on the lookout for supplies! (If you only received a
partial order, items were likely on backorder and items are being ordered
as they become available.)
Secondary Teachers: Laurie will send out supply order information soon.
Now that our department has a clerk, our ordering process can be more
streamlined, we are just waiting on our clerk to receive training. Thank you
for your patience!
Northeast Florida Scholastic Art Awards
The registration and submission window for Northeast Florida Scholastic Art
