Arts & Culture Update
Get to Know: Sean Swarner
Silverthorne is all about the arts lately,
which is no surprise, given that there’s a
13,000 square‐foot performing arts center
being constructed in the heart of
downtown. In conjunction with that bold
project, Town Council has also adopted its
first Arts and Culture Strategic Plan, which
in a short time has inspired a flurry of
efforts that are creating a more vibrant
and welcoming Silverthorne. Read more

being in a medically‐induced coma on

TOWN BEGINS SEARCH FOR DOWNTOWN DEVELOPER The Town of Silverthorne has issued a Request for Proposals for the development of
a key parcel in the heart of the community and the future of downtown
Silverthorne. “The Town has worked closely with Town Council, private landowners, businesses
and residents to create a community‐supported vision for our downtown, including
pedestrian‐friendly shops, restaurants, businesses and potentially residential
spaces,” said Mayor Bruce Butler. “The opportunity to develop property that will
define the identity and character of an entire mountain town for decades to come
is rare, and that’s just the opportunity we have in Silverthorne today.”
