are studying will be monitored during the course of the term and will contribute to your
final lab mark (Max 10%); This will take into account - the neatness of the dissection(s)
how clearly the system is displayed — your knowledge and understanding of the system .

1. Chordate characters - the protochordates.
2. Agnatha. Lamprey,hagfish and Ostracoderms
3. Gnathostomes. harks and primitive bony fish.
4. Osteichhthyes. The trout.
5. Evolution of bony fish.
6. Lungfish and coelacanths.
7. Amphibians . Frogs and salamanders . The labyrinthodonts.
8. Reptiles. Lizards The evolution of reptiles.
9. Birds - their evolution.
10. Mammals. The rabbit. The evolution of mammals . Teeth and limbs
11. Homo sapiens.
