Quarterly Newsletter - The Franklin | Chicago Office Space

Our vision for The Franklin is centered on ‘Think Forward’. Everything we do embodies this
philosophy and futher commits us to our reinvention.
THINK GREEN
THINK NEW
The Franklin’s recycling program expands to the
lobby! A new recycling center is located in the mail
vestibule between the two towers. Drop off plastic
grocery bags, clothes hangers, batteries, small printer
cartridges and electronic waste. Drop off larger e-waste
and toner cartridges in the Property Management Office
or schedule a pickup from your suite by entering a work
order.

THINK SAVINGS
Are you paying too much for the electricity in your suite?
Tishman Speyer may be able to use its portfolio buying
power to lower your electric rate by up to 20%. If you
are interested in a free assessment, please contact our
Regional Sustainability Manager, Ryan Tinus. He can
be reached at [email protected] or by phone
at 312.236.6636.
The new building-wide antenna system will go live by the
end of the month. It will serve AT&T customers first, but
plans to expand to Verizon and other carriers are in the
works. The antenna system will provide coverage
throughout the building, even in elevators!
Construction is underway on the tenant-exclusive R29
lounge. Slated to open in late December, the lounge
(located on the 29th floor of the 227 Monroe building) will
offer a place to escape from 3 pm until 8 pm. Plan to bring
a friend or a client and relax, recharge and reconnect at
R29.
THINK FIT
The new Fitness Center is open for business. Please
stop by the 5th floor of the 227 Monroe building and visit
Dawn Cielo for a tour of the facility. Learn about free
classes, health assesments and other benefits available
to members. Flu shots are available October 2nd and a
health fair will be held September 9th. Details are
available
on
the
Fitness
Center
website,
