Parking will be tight, so in the interests of everyone having an
enjoyable day, we ask all drivers to cooperate with our parking
attendants and park where they are directed.
Under threat of elimination and as a condition of entry, all
competitors agree to follow all instructions and requests made
by parking attendants.

so expect to have a great day of competition.

Equestrian sport can be very tough and there can only be one
winner at each level. I encourage all competitors to remember
that success isn’t only measured by ribbons. Success is taking a
young horse out for the first time and everything going
smoothly. Success can be getting your best ever score on your
dressage test. Success can be completing your first combined
training in a higher grade.

The Wyena Horse Trials are held under the current PCAV
rules.
Neither the organizing committee of this event nor the PCAV
accepts any responsibility whatsoever for any accident,
damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, ground spectators
or any other person or property.
The organizing committee reserves the right to:
• Cancel any class or event
• Divide any class
• Alter the advertised times
• Refuse any entry, with or without stating
the reason.

event.
Event Guidelines
Here are a few notices and guidelines we ask you to observe while on
our club grounds:
• This event is run under current PCAV Rules & By-Laws and BioSecurity Guidelines current at the date of the event. Entering this
competition constitutes acknowledgement and acceptance of these.
• When riding along the driveway at Croydon Road grounds, please
WALK at all times and be respectful to both other riders &
pedestrians. Everyone needs to feel safe in this busy thoroughfare!
• NO DOGS allowed at this event
• Full riding uniform, including helmet, is required when walking the
Show Jumping course.
• ALL Competitors must supply their own back number holder
•PLEASE CLEAN YARDS WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED WITH THEM,
INCLUDING HAY.
• New PCAV fall rules are now in place. If a rider falls off their
horse, regardless of where on our grounds, whether in a test phase or
in warm up, they must be checked by our first aid officer. If it is
deemed the rider hit their head at any stage they may be eliminated
on medical grounds. If the rider is competing on more than one
horse, and they are eliminated on medical grounds, the elimination
will apply to the second horse also.
