Congratulations Mr Nolan who won £30 with Bonus ball number 12 on Saturday 24 th December, The Foxes who won with number

MSA Position
We have a vacancy with an immediate start – subject to successful checks and references – for a Midday supervisor for 2 days a
week (Tuesday and Thursday) during term time. This position would particularly suit a local resident. If you know of anyone who
might be interested please contact the school office for further information.
Children’s choice Menu
On school census day, Thursday 19th January, the school catering service are offering a selection of food from ‘Our Favourite
Food’ the children’s top choices.
Oven baked breaded chicken portion (gluten free) served with potato wedges or the ever popular Mac’n’cheese crusty bread both
served with unlimited salad or hot vegetables followed by Arctic roll ice cream. We are encouraging all children to have a school
meal on this day as data produced for the school census for the day governs the funding the school will receive in the following
academic year. All children in KS1 are entitled to a universal free meal, for children in KS2 who do not normally have a school
meal the charge is £2.35, in cash or cheque payable to Herts catering or payment via schoolcomms (entry via the school website
if you are not already a user).
There is help for families on some benefits. Please visit www.hertsdirect.org/freeschoolmeals for information on how to claim free
school meals (this also applies to children in KS1 who are at the moment on universal free schools) you may, if eligible, be
entitled to other financial help. All applications are dealt with individually and discretely.
PKSA
Although football started yesterday, if your child is interested in enrolling just contact www.pksa.co.uk to sign up for this term.
Active kids
Sainsbury's launch this years ‘Active Kids’ campaign in stores from 25th January until 30th June. Get friends and relatives on
board and encourage them to donate their vouchers to Breachwood Green. In past campaigns the school has benefited greatly
from sports, gardening and cookery equipment. One voucher for every £10 spent in Sainsbury's supermarkets and online
shopping; one voucher for £5 spent in Sainsbury's local shops. Remember vouchers are produced on a separate piece of paper
at the end of your shopping receipt for the equivalent of every £10 spent! Happy shopping.
