FFA Association. This conference will take place on Saturday, January 16 and
Sunday, January 17 and will be held at the Embassy Suites Columbus-Dublin. Cost
for the event will be $100. Students will also need to bring money for lunch at Bob
Evans on our way to the conference.
To reserve your son or daughter’s spot on this trip, you must return the attached
permission forms to Ms. Faulkner or Mrs. Hillard by December 15 and a $25 deposit. We
will be taking a maximum of 20 students and spots will be filled on a first come first
served basis.

212 Conference – 212, the temperature at which water boils – will focus on taking
students to the boiling point of leadership. At 211 water is extremely hot, but just one
more degree gets us to the next level. These conferences focus on the development of the
individual student. Students will be challenged to push the limits. Themes for this
conference include: Virtues, Growth and Collaboration.
360 Conference will take students full circle in chapter leadership development. The
conference will cover every angle for developing action plans for their chapters. Themes
for this conference include:
*Action and Influence. 360 conferences focus on chapter development.
*Action is a key theme for every 212 and 360 conference, as the goal is to provide
students the tools, ideas and time to develop action plans for their chapters, communities
and personal lives.

Northwestern 212/360 Conference Trip Details (For Teacher) Dates: Saturday, January 16 – Sunday, January 17 Location: Embassy Suites Columbus-­‐Dublin Number of Students: Maximum of 20 Chaperones: Ms. Faulkner and Mrs. Hillard Transportation: Northwestern Local School Bus Number of Hotel Rooms: Roughly 6 (Depending on Boy/Girl Ratio – One room for chaperones) Student Cost: $100 + Money for lunch on way to conference Costs Covered by Chapter: Any amount $100 student charge does not cover Advisor Cost: $45 x 2 for chaperones + 1 room ($109) Total: $2144 total cost -­‐ $144 covered by chapter Students will be responsible for paying the $70 conference registration fee. They will also be responsible for $30 for their part of a hotel room. There will be 4 students per room. Students will also be responsible for paying for their own lunch on the way to the conference. Before the trip, all students and their parent/guardian will be responsible for completing all necessary permission forms for the school and the conference. The chaperones (me) will be responsible for carrying this information at all times while on the trip to ensure student safety. Before leaving the school, the chaperones (me) will discuss safety procedures with students and rules for the trip. Consequences for students that break the rules will also be made known.
