Hello Gorgeous!
I'm so excited to show you these 5 Beautifying Blends of Goodness!!
First, Let me Share Why these Recipes are so AMAZING!
These recipes I'm sharing with you are perfect for anyone who wants to improve their
appearance by beautifying from within and being healthier using only natural whole foods!
Why? It's important to know what job our food is doing for us! It's easy to forget how proper nutrition
effects our bodies when we're only thinking about it as an internal stand point. If you see the positive effects
that great nutrition supply's us for our outside appearance, then it can be more rewarding! Plus, if you're
noticing the benefits of good nutrition on the outside, then you know for a fact that your inside is balanced and
healthy!
Why? Because our outer shell is the last to receive nutrients when our bodies break down our food. The
most important organs take nutrients first (heart, brain, liver) then our skin, hair and nails are last. Meaning, if
you show any signs of dry, brittle, over oily, patchy, dull, flaky skin, hair or nails, then you know certain nutrients
aren't getting to where they need to be.
What do BeautyFuels do? Along with all the internal benefits such as improving digestion , feeling more
calm , balanced and vibrant, these BeautyFuels will also..
- Hydrate your skin and lips
- Promote clearer, glowing skin
- Repair inflamed skin and reduce redness
- Combat wrinkle formation
- Improve natural collagen production
- Increase shine in hair
- Boost keratin for stronger hair and nails
- Increase skin elasticity and smoothness
- Even out oil or dryness imbalances on scalp
- Protect skin from free radicals
- Grow longer, stronger hair
- Reduce dark under eye circles
- etc! You'll just look fabulous, ok?! ;)
5 Things Before We Get Beautified!
1. You will need a Blender! It doesn't have to be all fancy, but you will want to make sure it can
chop up seeds and ice good!
2.
Water! I have to throw this one in here:) Staying hydrated during the day is one of the most
important things you can do for keeping your skin, hair and nails in excellent condition! How much
water? If you take your body weight, divide it in half, that's how many ounces of water to drink daily!
(Ex: Weight=140, divide by 2 = 70 oz.)
3. Get a Partner in crime !! What's more fun than getting beautified with a friend!? It's cool to
try new recipes with other people, plus it's even cooler when you and your friends notice how
amazingly gorgeous you look and feel from all the beautiful nutrition!
4. Hashtag #BeautyFuel ! And post your pics so I can see your fabulous creations:)

Beauty Fuel
The Beauty Blends
The Island Beauty
Makes 1-2 servings
4-6 Ice cubes
1 cup Coconut water
1 cup Pineapple chunks
1 cup Cantaloupe chunks
1 ripe Mango (about 1 cup too!)
1 ripe Banana
This Beautifying cocktail, full of island goodness, is one virgin drink that will
have you drunk on love! Your skin is going to glow beautifully with the help of
all the amazing amounts of #BeautyFuel that are surfing in this bad girl! Can I just explain for a sec how incredible coconuts are?
All forms of coconuts are a girl’s bf, especially coconut water found in young coconuts (the green ones!) With its crazy high levels of
electrolyte balancing minerals like zinc, selenium and copper, your nails and hair will become stronger and your skin will be aglow!
You may notice the pretty blend of yellow and orange tones from the cantaloupe, pineapple and mango yeah? That my fabulous
friend is beta-carotene! Beta-carotene is a plant pigment (anything red, orange or yellow) that makes up nearly 50% of the all so
famous vitamin A! This trio combined creates an internal sunblock which reduces the risk of sunburn! Did I also mention that
pineapple and cantaloupe contain more vitamin C than an average orange?! Along with the banana, these additional nutrients play
a huge role for keratin production to form strong hair and nails! I'll drink to that!
Hot Tip: If you like some extra thickness you can use a tad less coconut water or more ice cubes. Swap your mango and pineapple with
already precut frozen ones too for convenience!
The Sexy Superhero
Makes 1-2 servings
4 Ice cubes
1 1/2 cups Coconut milk
1/3 cup Blueberries
1 ripe Banana
1/2 Avocado
1 Tbs Maca powder
1 Tbs Acai powder
1 tsp Chia seeds
This life saving smoothie is armed with super beautifying superfoods! Your inner
superpowers are going to skyrocket with the first taste of this exotic powerhouse! The essential fatty acids that are found in the
avocado and chia seeds are very important for keeping your skin, hair and nails super hydrated! Acai and Blueberries get a gold
medal for containing some of the highest levels of antioxidants! Antioxidants, fight off free radicals that cause early aging from
pollution, smoking, uv rays, medications, and chlorinated water! Maca is known as the "romantic one" ... You may be surprised that
even with its libido boosting, hormone balance qualities, it's a crazy natural collagen enhancer! And we can't forget good ol'
banana! Bananas mixture of multiple B vitamins keep our hair and nails super strong by boosting our keratin levels! Cheers to
#BeautyFuel!!
Hot Tip: When storing your other avocado half, keep the pit in the half that you're saving for later. Put it in a zip lock and pop it in the fridge!
(p.s. Sometimes I even suck the air out of the baggie to create a vacuum seal!)
The Happy Hippie
Makes 1-2 servings
4-6 Ice cubes
1 1/2 cups Green Tea ( unsweetened )
2 cups fresh Spinach (or other leafy green)
1 ripe Mango
1/2 Avocado
1 ripe Banana
1 1/2 Tbs Hemp Seeds (hulled)
2 Tbs Agave Nectar
This flirtatious free spirit will have you singing for more after the first taste!
Gorgifying Green tea is known for its crazy antioxidants and it's loaded with
vitamin A, which helps skin repair itself and vitamin D, which is important for
hair follicle cycling! Along with the green tea and spinach, hemp seeds are super high (lol no pun!) in zinc which is needed for
growing hair! (yay! Long hair for braids!) The vitamin C in the mango helps fight nasty free radicals that can cause early aging. The
banana and avocado use their B's to boost collagen in our skin and keratin for our hair to keep it super strong! Can I add again how
cool hemp seeds are? Hemp seeds are a phenomenal source of omega fatty acids. Omega fatty acids are your greatest friend for
keeping your skin and scalp hydrated providing less blackheads and a healthy head of hair! Hallelujah to #BeautyFuel !! A fun
fact about Agave nectar: It's sweeter than syrup, but really low on the glycemic chart! Now show me your best Happy Hippie Dance!
Hot Tip: You can replace spinach with kale or collard greens too! You can also use a cup of precut, frozen mango pieces too for a quick swap.
Feel free to adjust the sweetness factor is this one by adding a tad less or more agave!
The Playful Pinup
Makes 1-2 servings
1 1/2 cups Almond milk
2 Tbs Powdered Peanut Butter
1 1/2 Tbs Cacao powder (this is ca-cow not co-co ;)
1/4 cup Almonds, unsalted plain
1 Frozen Banana
2 tsp Flax Seeds
1tsp Raw Honey or Apple honey ( vegan alternative :)
This's tempting, voluptuous goddess full of #Beautyfuel is such a tease! Don't be
fooled by her rich blend of subtle sweetness which can lead anyone to think this is dessert! Cacao is a relative to chocolate
and is abundant in antioxidants that block wrinkles from forming and sulfur which is a mineral that strengthens your hair,
skin and nails! Almonds contain very high amounts of Biotin (Vitamin B7) which support hair and nails as well as vitamin E
which is important for moisturizing your skin and scalp! Flaxseeds are full of phytochemicals and omega 3 fatty acids that
help your skin retain moisture and reduce inflammation. Bananas have these really cool amino acids too that supercharge
healthy hair and nail growth. We can't leave pretty protein out of this one! The almonds, powdered pb and flax seeds
contain beautifying plant-based proteins that help grow keratin, elastin and collagen for youthful hair, nails and skin!
Daaang girl!!
Hot Tip: Before you freeze the banana whole, you want to take the peel off, and cut it in big chunks (so it blends better frozen).
Then freeze! (This is also how you make banana ice cream!!) Also, blend the almonds for extra time for added smoothness:)
The Bashful Bonita
Makes 1-2 servings
1 1/2 cups Coconut milk
1/4 cup Raspberries
1/2 cup Blueberries
4-6 Frozen Strawberries
1 Banana
1tsp Raw Honey or Apple honey ( vegan alternative :)
The powerful antioxidants found in this baby is taking the girl next door to a
whole new level! Although this particular #BeautyFuel has high amounts
of vitamins and minerals, it is also jam packed with anti-aging phytochemicals
(super cool chemical compounds that are totally rad for our skin, hair and nails!) So, beginning with Blueberries, these sweet little
bundles of goodness contains Anthocyanin (antho-sy-a-nin) say it slowly..which increases skin elasticity and protects our DNA!
Gorgeous Raspberries have amazing amounts of this super awesome ellagic acid that blocks wrinkle formation! The always stunning
strawberries house the same wrinkle blocking acid as the raspberries (making them a killer wrinkle repellant) PLUS they have high
amounts of vitamin C which is an antioxidant that protects our bodies from damaging free radicals found in air pollution, smoking,
uv rays, and all kinds of other nasty things. Eat your C for more elastin and collagen production! Firm, tight skin for everyone!! Did I
also mention that bananas balance our body’s pH? No wonder why naners are loved so much!
Hot Tip: Before you freeze the strawberries, make sure they're rinsed clean and the tops are trimmed :) Also take your time blending this
one, a few extra pulses will chop up those raspberry seeds extra good!
