Welcome to Dublin!
Upon our early arrival to Dublin airport, we meet with our local
tour leader, who will be traveling with us during our entire trip in
Ireland.
We are off to a panoramic city tour of Dublin, including a visit to
the Guinness Storehouse. Here we will enjoy the very special
Connoisseur Experience with great beer tasting and lunch.
Check in to our hotel in the late afternoon. The evening for leisure.

Wednesday, September 13th, 2017
Time to discover the city at your own pace. Dublin has so much to
offer, from fantastic museums, great shopping, glorious pubs …!
We will arrange an optional Literary Pub Crawl visiting the most
inspiring and long lasting pub’s in town this afternoon. Feel free to
join us!
In the evening we will head to the coast of Dublin for an Irish
evening at a very special restaurant dated back to the
16th century. A seafood dinner is served while enjoying traditional
music and dance. We have included an Irish Coffee Master Class
to finish our evening.

Tuesday, September 12th, 2017
It’s time to take an even closer look at Dublin as we depart in
the morning to experience the ancient and modern city. Driving
through the main streets we will pass from historic buildings
such as the General Post Office in O’Connell Street where the
1916 Uprising started; Leinster House, the Seat of Government
and rows of Georgian houses with gaily painted doorways. We
will walk through the campus
of Trinity College to view the
illuminated manuscript of the
8th century Book of Kells and
learn how monks created this
and other masterpieces. Visit to
St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
Lunch is served at a local pub
and the afternoon and evening
are free to enjoy Dublin!

Friday, September 15th, 2017
Departing Dublin and drive through the prime agricultural country
with a pause for photos at the impressive Rock of Cashel and
its medieval ruins. Visit a nearby sheep farm for freshly baked
scones and tea, while watching the trained dogs herd the sheep.
Lunch is served before we visit Waterford’s “Glass with Class”
Factory.
Final stop today is Cork, with the oldest market of its kind in
Europe- the colorful English Market. Dinner is served at a local
pub and the remainder of the evening for leisure to enjoy the
beauty of our countryside resort.

After a rich breakfast, we stroll the English Market which offer
an array of farmhouse cheeses to Irish artisan products. A typical
Irish lunch follows, before we have a wee bit of Irish whiskey and
an incredible story as we visit one of Ireland’s most famous
distilleries; Jameson’s.
We continue our day in a mystical place where majestic yew
and oak trees grow around an ancient druidic settlement, one of
Ireland’s oldest and most historic castles; Blarney. Those hearty
souls can climb the ramparts of the castle walls and kiss the
magic “Stone of Eloquence”. We will also visit Blarney Woollen
Mills, famous for its Irish made goods of all types.
Arrive to Killarney, picturesque set beside lakes and mountains,
for our overnight stay. A gourmet dinner is served at our hotel
before we call it a night.
This morning we will take a traditional horse drawn jaunting car
through the Killarney National Park to scenic Ross Castle, set on
the shores of Lough Leane, Killarney’s largest lake. Enjoy local
stories by your jarvey and take in the great views of the mountains.
We will also visit the village of Adare, famous for its main street
lined with thatched cottages and colorful gardens.
Return to Dromoland Castle for some time at leisure. In the
evening we travel the short way to the 15th century Bunratty
Castle for a medieval style feast with lots of food, wine and song
to carry you off to the Middle Ages in spirit.

Tuesday, September 19th, 2017
We continue our journey along the coast of County Clare to
view the Cliffs of Moher, which rise to heights of almost 700 feet
above the churning Atlantic swells. Walk along the top of the cliffs
to O’Brien’s Tower for great views of Galway Bay and the Aran
Islands. Drive through the Irish countryside to Kildare to visit
the Irish National Stud and learn all about the valuable breeding
industry and see the magnificent horses, before walking around
the traditional miniature Japanese Gardens and the modern
St. Fintan Garden. Our last night and farewell dinner is reserved
at the very exclusive K Club.

Sunday, September 17th, 2017
Today we will discover the glorious Dingle Peninsula, made
famous by two movies; “Ryan’s Daughter” and “Far and Away”.
Drive to Slea Head at the westernmost tip for awesome views
of the Atlantic Ocean. Stop for tastings at the Dingle Whiskey
Distillery and lunch at a local pub.
In the afternoon we arrive to one of the most amazing castles in
Ireland; Dromoland Castle, which will be our home for the next
two nights. We recommend a hawk walk to learn the 4,000-yearold art of falconry, a round of golf, fishing or best yet a relaxing
spa experience.

All too soon, our trip has ended. Transfer to Dublin Airport in plenty
of time to check in for your flight and clear security. You may do
some last-minute shopping at the duty-free stores before flying
west across the Atlantic Ocean back to the United States.
If you are among the lucky ones extending your stay in London,
please request the detailed program and pricing. We have
included three nights accommodation in central London (4-star
hotel), all transfers, a full day sightseeing with admission to Tower
of London, Westminster Abbey, St. Paul’s Cathedral, a Thames
Cruise and a full day visit of Windsor.
