The Media Stele is a vehicle for technology.
Reserved but nevertheless present – a minimalist
carrier of a range of displays. As digital signage, for
presentations or for modern video conferencing.
The corpus is easy to equip with all the tools you
need to engage in modern communication. The
entire technology is concealed in the corpus. This
is where cable is managed; this is where there is
plenty of space for PC and Blu-ray player, media
control, video codec and camera.

Functions
Media Stele: casegood carcass with suspended monitors in various sizes. Available in widths of
60 cm, 80 cm and 130 cm.
Floorstanding Stele stands secured to the wall for tilt protection.
Media Steles with a width of 60 cm are also available as a free-standing version with a base
plate (for surcharge).
Versions
Stele - widths:
Depending upon the widths, the Steles are suitable for carrying 46, 55, 65 and 80 inch
monitors. (The measurements refer to the Stele without multimedia equipment)
60 cm (1 monitor): for suspension of a 46 to 55 inch monitor.
80 cm (1 monitor): for suspension of a 55 to 65 inch monitor.
130 cm (1 monitor): for suspension of an 80 inch monitor.
130 cm (2 monitors): for suspension of two 46 to 55 inch monitors.
Stele - depths:
The Stele is available in three depths for the accommodation of flat membrane technology and
other media technology components. The depth of the Stele determines the choice of technical
equipping inside the Stele.
(The measurements refer to the Stele without monitor. The clear measurement of each Stele
can be found in the drawings on page 52.)
11 cm: removable front (no door), fixed screen.
Available for versions with Stele widths of 60 and 80 cm.
31 cm: front with door and manually adjustable screen.
Integration of a video conference camera possible.
Available for variants with Stele widths of 60, 80 and 130 cm.
Cover for video conference camera
The cover can be adjusted manually conceals a video conference camera.
Automatic opening of the cover available for a surcharge. The connection of the automatic
operation with either manual switch or by integrating the electronic control unit into a media
control system via potentialfree contacts.

Total height of the Media Stele
The total height of the Media Stele is defined
by the monitor and results from adding the
reference height (108 cm) and the height of
the monitor.

The total depth of the Media Stele (incl.
screen) results from adding the depth of the
monitor + the depth of the Stele (11 cm
or 31 cm) + 4 cm distance from the wall.
(The distance of 4 cm from the wall allows
ventilation and sound discharge from the
subwoofer.)

In case of a front in fine textured paint, black .106: carcass finished as per front.
In case of glass front, black .35: carcass fine textured paint, black, colour number .106.
In case of glass front, white .36: carcass painted white .03 (for a surcharge).
Carcass interior finished as per paint finish of exterior carcass.
The surcharge for white paint no. .03 is to be added to the price of the fine textured
paint no. .106.
Other fine textured painted surfaces from the Walter K. collection are available upon request.
Media Stele - technology components
Supplied monitors
All monitors fulfilling the Vesa standard may be used. For aesthetic reasons, we recommend
using the flattest possible monitors (Edge LED).
Always indicate monitor size when ordering. Panel sizes depend on monitor sizes.
Maximum weight load for monitors 100 kg.

The following criteria are required when ordering a Media Stele:
1. Choose monitor size (when ordering, please include specification of the monitor)
2. Select appropriate width of the Media Stele
3. Define technical equipment
4. Select appropriate depth of the Media Stele
5. Select screen control
6. Define surface of the Media stele.
